The AED needs to be more precisely positioned for folk to find it from an OSM map. OSM data can be correct to within 1 metre. The Big Yellow storage facility is the other side of Holman Road from this AED placement. I would think it would be fixed to the wall. Could you please reposition the AED? I can help if you tell me exactly where it should be.

Hi, The names seem more like descriptions of the features. The use of the level tag is incorrect. Some features are untagged. The outline Way: edision block (354741132) has very unusual tags. Thus I would suggest this changeset be reverted. You can then learn a bit more about editing OSM and especially editing with the complex JOSM editor.

My attention was initially drawn to the steps area in the SE corner. Where highways are duplicated one atop another. They have the tag level_name=0, what does this mean?

There are many guides and videos to help with JOSM. Need any help please just ask.

Hi, This building is number 52 as originally tagged. The dentist state they are number 52b which I presume would be only part of that building, hence the POI for it within the building outline.

Hi, Thanks for responding so quickly. I've reverted everything back to the original state. So there's nothing to worry about now.

There are other editors lOSM, where changes/additions can be made to the OSM data and saved without uploading.

The two highways you've added Way: Appendix 5 Mapping (1421503234) and Way: 1421503235, that join to several other features, cannot in any way be seen as highways nor would they be seen as highway areas. Thus to avoid confusion to routing I've removed the highway tags. The lines are left untagged for now in case there is a reason for their mapping. This is done in Changeset: 170293753.

If theres no response the linescan later be removed. Need any help please just ask.

The building is number 52. Your building doesn't occupy the whole building. You dragged out of position a street and some traffic lights.

I've made the necessary corrections to repair the highway. I've made the business a POI within the building.

I don't think the pickup point would be inside the building as you've positioned it. As per:- amenity=taxi, it should be at the point where taxis wait. Could you please correct the position.

Hi Richard, I can see that image and I've added a service entrance to OSM to give you a start. Please check for it's correct location, I've also squared up the building.

As for contributing to OSM, from experience I'd say first decide if your mapping will be occasional editing for which the iD editor will be OK, you've already used it. Or more serious dedicated mapping that might need a more comprehensive editing tool like JOSM. You can of course use both. But JOSM is by far superior though there is much more to learn.

Hi, Yes this was first mapped to record the line of the old railway in 2020. In 2025 someone added the cycleway tag to many sections, most being correct but as we see not all. I've removed the cycleway tag from the section you pointed out between the bridges of Blackbrook Farm and Forest Lane.

Please let me know if any other changes need to be made. There is a dispute about one section used as a public path for years:- https://www.charnwood.gov.uk/pages/community_value_asset_jubilee_walk_in_shepshed Don't know if that's been resolved.

Hi, These two ways:- Way: Charnwood Forest Line (1420238187) and Way: Charnwood Forest Line (1420238186) duplicated existing ways so I've removed them.

Is there any online evidence, a map, of the cycleway?

OSM maps only verifiable ground truth features. I don't think there could be a business of any kind in this courtyard. As you state, the company is an online store; therefore, it is not suitable to be added to OSM, as there is nothing there for the public to access. Thus, I've removed the node.

If you do have verifiable premises somewhere,e they could be mapped.

Hi, I can see no evidence for the highways you've added here. Can you please show or state the evidence you have for their existence. They look more like plain field boundaries. If they are fiction, please remove them.

Unfortunately you placed a new highway on top of the 'highway under construction' making duplication of the highways. It's OSM practice that amendments/corrections to features, (highways) are made where possible (here) to the existing feature. Thus duplication is avoided and all mapping history of the feature is maintained.

I've removed the duplicates, updating features with your new info, all's now well.
