Hiya mate, are you sure this is a path? The imagery looks to me like this has a bridge leading to the house, and (while not a valid source for adding data) local Street View shows the path to be a pair of tracks rather than a singular path.

I didn't know there was any open data available to assign postcodes, figured Royal Mail would hold their monopoly forever. Thanks a lot for your work!

Ah! So that explains those odd forest cut lines that don't have any power lines/pylons through them, neat. Mayhaps I'll double check the pipeline markers I've seen and look for patterns.

So much data to pore through 😁

Oh that's neat! I love infrastructure stuff, where'd you find this sort of information? Mapping power like this would be nice :)

Hi mate, please don't upload changesets where your changes span large areas as you have in the last few uploads, they make it very difficult for local mappers to keep up to date on updates in their local area, thanks :)

Ah, that makes sense, cheers. That explains the absence of display windows.

Well, I've learned something new then, thanks!

Hiya mate, are you sure addr:unit="Unit 1" is appropriate? Per TagInfo, there's ~1000 uses of addr:unit="Unit 1" and ~520000 uses of addr:unit=1.

It looks like something bugged out in Every Door and you submitted the same edits multiple times across multiple changesets, now there's several (~7) duplicates of a bunch of stuff (like node/13108537012). I've removed the excess nodes I've come across but I don't know how many more there are.

Spotted the Woodside while I was cycling by, didn't realize it was actually closed down, thanks for letting me know. I've kept the name tag (it's visually prominent) and added disused:tourism=hotel to stop it showing up as a hotel.

Righto, I'll just leave the private property stuff as a note then and leave access as permissive, cheers 👍.

154110894

Yeah, still there, from today https://imgur.com/a/wCA4mW9

I did recall freedom-to-roam though, this means access could just be left as permissive and leave the private sign as note.

You're right about the fencing, I see the very deliberate gap on the map, but see the street view (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@56.0238204,-3.4318502,3a,71.2y,141.45h,88.09t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sSW_axill3VLqvawHNaONzg!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D1.913866242945403%26panoid%3DSW_axill3VLqvawHNaONzg%26yaw%3D141.4549934927017!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDQwOC4wIKXMDSoJLDEwMjExNDU1SAFQAw%3D%3D) (looked exactly like this when I visited today).

The green sign indicates private property, no trespassing, and there's a small fence gently 'discouraging' pedestrians from continuing to the castle. The one page I could find talking about the castle suggests getting permission from the security first.

Suppose this is a case of 'technically private' vs 'no-one actually cares'.

Hiya andrum, I see you tagged Rosyth Castle with permissive access, but the sign there indicates the land is Rosyth Ports property, private property, and no trespassing, did you have a particular reason for tagging permissive?

163382687

Yeah, that sounds fair. I'll restore the previous node then.

163382687

Oops, yeah, thanks for letting me know I missed the duplicate. I've modified the parking tags and copied the taxi stand node tags over to a relation combining both areas (like in relation/15030337), but I'm not entirely sure how well supported taxi stand relations are 🤔

That's the interpretation I used, wiki's definition matches. Not sure how much use my re-tagging of farmland is (how often is arable farmland converted to pasture/vice-versa?). In any case, I was mainly focusing on splitting up large farmlands based on fence/wall dividers, tagging meadows was just a fun little side mission :)

Hey DorneyLake123, can't speak for the other places of worship, but what's the basis for adding building=yes to the Shrine of St. Margaret? As far as I'm aware, the shrine is a marble platform, not a physical building per se.

Looks like node/4883817270 (Scotland) should not have been moved, I've reverted this node back

153987974

Ah, thanks, I'll try to be more careful next time. Figures the first time I'm working with huge objects, something goes wrong 😅
