#TIP: when roads go through a building, Split the building and tag it as building=roof + layer=1. In somecases you'd need to add a tunnel through the building but in this case the imagery shows what looks like a roof

It appears you are adding a building inside of an existing building. You could just remove any tags referencing the closed business. Also you added the layer=-1 tag which seems to imply the building is below ground. Please review this edit
