Hello vespex!

Thank you for your contribution to the OpenStreetMap. However, I have some improvements to your edit.

1) Roads with "ref" starting with E* should be mapped as secondary. Check a mapping convention on Cy OSM wiki page
osm.wiki/Cyprus#Highways_in_Cyprus

2) I have checked E604 on Gov - it is secondary, not primary too.

They are duplicates because they does not follow the "One feature - one OSM element" and should be merged.

I will be monitoring the merge process. Please P.M. me once it is done.

Please let me know if I can help you with the process.

Best regards,
Layft

See all duplicated nodes, sharing the same gtfs_stop_code

Also, if the stops are not duplicate, it would be nice to add public_transport=platform to those OSM nodes

This edit introduced at least one duplicate bus stop

Before adding borders in the occupied territories, we need to make sure that the existing border data for the occupied territories is valid. Theoretically, the borders should not have changed after the occupation, but I have no sources where I could check the validity of the data.

@1T-money, occupation border is under "topographic map", "other boundaries"

Here's another link I have found. This is the same data source but in different viewer.

https://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?url=http://eservices.dls.moi.gov.cy/arcgis/rest/services/National/Topography_GR/MapServer/2

There is even OSM base layer, so the border can be compared with gov data.

Hello let's continue here changeset/130237596

130237596

Hello colleagues!

The community boundaries can be found on the gov cadastral plans.

https://eservices.dls.moi.gov.cy/#/national/geoportalmapviewer [switch to English, select map viewer → cadastral, table of contents → municipal communities, enjoy]

Note that the communities plan covers the entire island. Because of the occupation, I have mapped only communities that do not cross the occupation border.

If you displaced the occupation border, please revert those changes: communities boundaries have nothing to do with the occupation border.

However, I have to mention, that according to the same cadastral plans, the occupation border was offset and should be realigned anyways (I have checked the Pano Pyrgos area).

Thank you!

This looks like the border was slightly moved towards the occupied territories. Are you sure this is correct?

Hello Rosie_OSM! Welcome to the OpenStreetMap community!

Thank you for your contribution, but I would like to point out that there are things that can be improved:

However, there are some things that can be improved:

1. Building type should stay retail, because, by definition, it defines building for retail and restaurants.
osm.org/browse/way/988521911
This also applies to the buildings on the Eastern part of the marina.

2. One feature - one OSM element. That is related to the restaurants that we mapped in the changed building. Please either leave restaurants as nodes (points), or remove the nodes and keep the restaurants mapped as ways.
osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element

Thank you in advance.

If you will need help editing please let me know.

BR,
Layft Greater
