You tagged Sussex Street as having one tagged lane, however, looking at the satellite imagery I don't see any explicitly marked lanes, and the section after Washington Street is actually a 2-way street..

You are correct. This is LIRR. I mistakenly confused these with subway lines.

note= key is intended to help inform other mappers about something, such as help disambiguate some complicated map situation, it's not really intended to encode information.

I encountered such situations a couple of times, but in OSM there's no tag to explicitly record "start of construction". Luckily active constructions last 2-3 years so such a tag won't be relevant for too long.

You could tag this whole thing as building under construction, and then update its shape as construction progresses and satellite imagery gets updated. Or add floors and units info once the building is done.

I believe BetaNYC folks are working with this class on these edits, so hopefully they'll review previous edits and fix things up.

These college students did quiet a number on this campus😓

Please note that "construction_start=" is not a valid OSM tag.
Additionally, "building:flats=" and "building:levels=" tags without "building=" tag creates invalid object.
Also, "height_ft=" is not a valid OSM tag and no data consumer will read or use it. height=* documents how to properly record height of features.
