Instead of using the name tag, consider: "trailblazed=yes" and "colour=yellow". Mentioning it in case you do a lot of trail mapping.
This could get a map program to show a yellow line for the trail.

On satellite imagery, the observatory is on the next field to the east, over a tree line. Has the observatory been moved and the imagery is old?

Do you have any idea where you got the name "Tatmic Road" for way/753396235/history/1
I don't see a street sign and it's not in the Maine DOT database.

Fixed in changeset/146647862. Please be careful when making changes to relations. Mistakes add a lot of work to fix.

It looks like you tried to separate a town's label node from a highway node. The new node got made but the old highway node stayed in the relation. I'm going through and fixing a handful of these in Maine. Don't forget to check relations.

I've also fixed the capitalization on chickadee lane. We use title-case for names of things.

It looks like you accidentally moved 9 Newman Road. It can be easy to drag things while editing. I've put it back.

Did you delete it solely because it's private?

This exist has been completely redon, fixed in OSM, and you've put it back to what it used to be. Please be careful how much you rely on old imagery, especially if it's not a place you know well.

I'm very curious what an "emergency response audit" is. Does island police/fire use OSM?

Welcome to OSM, thanks for blocking off this bridge. If/when the pedestrian bridge gets built, maybe you can add it to the map too.

I wouldn't take the address nodes as authoritative for the street name (I imported them and they could be wrong, especially for roads that are part of a route). Instead, I would use local signage from street-level imagery (ground truth) or https://www.maine.gov/mdot/mapviewer/index.html?hide=FFC&show=CSL%20Safety%20Data%20Public (an authority)

But also, t2editme has never responded to comments, so if you think something is wrong, don't wait for them to respond, just fix it.

Thanks for adding these. Names get title-case and don't abbreviate parts. "SAWMILL LN" should be "Sawmill Lane" on both the street and the address.

Based on the text and image in the article you put as the commit message, Front Street doesn't seem correct. I think it still has parts that are one-way (going north). Are you local and can you get ground truth?

Thanks for adding this path.

It gets complicated for humans who make future edits when unrelated elements are physically connected. You connected your path to the edge of the river in 7ish places.

As an example, the edge of the river seems to be a little mis-aligned. Imagine if I fixed the river edge and now I'm accidentally moving your path around.

I'm telling you this mostly to keep in mind in case you do a lot more editing, which I hope you do.

Please ask if you have questions, and welcome to OSM.

Hi. I see you added oneway=no. That's fine and it doesn't hurt anything but your commit message "Update Mckeen Landing Roads from one way" makes it seem like you think the roads are one-way by default if they don't have the oneway=no tag. I assure you that's not the case and routing engines assume roads are 2-way if there is no oneway tag.
