The place has gone or never existed. A user of Organic Maps application has reported that the POI was visible on the map (see snapshot date below), but was not found on the ground.

Our users indicate: "That is not Duke's Lake - that is TC Pit". We cannot find any available sources to verify this information. Can any local mappers confirm this? #msftopenmaps

An "improved" (but longer) walkway under the rail bridge will be opening here at the end of August, routing pedestrians and dismounted cyclists north onto Roger Dudman Way, then back to Botley Road via Cripley Road.
