It's not a major problem but you could have merged the existing node with your building outline or just left the node inside the outline and not added address info to the outline.

The normal practice in New Zealand is not to add sidewalks as seperate ways but instead use the "refinement of highway" approach where sidewalk tags are added to the parent road instead. See sidewalk=* Using that method it is generally much easier to maintain topological correctness for routing.
