Mal eine andere Frage, da du ja der destination-man bist. Was macht man wenn ein symbol ohne Text auf dem Schild ist. Ich lasse es dann bei dem Text leer und zumindest mit deinem Validator funktioniert es, wobei der JOSM-Validator das als möglichen Fehler anzeigt.

Ok, dann sind wir uns bei "to" ja einig, dass es zu destination gehört, ich hätte dann aber logischerweise das "destination:to" als key genommen, aber gut, dann kommt es nach ref etc.

Nur noch mal zur Bestätigung:
destination:ref:lanes:to:backward
sollte richtig sein. Backward immer als Letztes, to immer hinter den den restlichen Subs.

Nein, da ist nichts einfach. Ich bin auch nicht gut in Rechtschreibung, weil ich Logik darin suche und nicht finde.
Wie gesagt passt das "to" nirgends rein, weil es nicht die Richtung der Straße oder der Spur angibt, sondern ein Hinweis auf dahinterliegende Wege ist. Deswegen ist es logischerweise dem Key zugeordnet und nicht einem Subkey. Aber ok, wenn ich das also richtig sehe, dann kommt "to" immer vor der Richtung und hinter lanes.
Btw. beim Rendern dürfte die Reihenfolge keine Rolle spielen.
